Mika Perez came second for very little in Sunday's race at Magny Cours in the Supersport 300 class after a great battle which has always seen him as the main protagonist. The race was the last of the 300 Supersport World Championship and Perez was in contention with two other drivers for the final title. After a race with front overturnes in which Perez showed he deserved the victory and the final title, he came second in the sprint losing the chance of gaining the world title for only one point! Honor to Ana Carrasco, the first woman to win a world title in a world competition with men. Excellent results also came from Kalinin (seventh) and De La Vega (ninth). Rovelli, instead, outside the points area. In Supersport 600 the Bitubo riders did not take points. Also in SBK it was a bitter weekend for Roman Ramos and Team Go Eleven. The Spanish rider brought home only one point in Race1.
In the Dutch trip of Assen of the BSB, the two riders of Team Buildbase Suzuki both came to points in the two maches, with Cooper who scored an excellent fifth place in Race2.
